Drawn to a a reading of three poems by David Barbour: “Aria,” “Corn Maze” (misspelled in my note) and “Lacrimarium.” Pauses and line endings felt more defininitive here, and ended in dots (notes?) in the first poem. My hand felt the reading as quirky, jazzy, even if the poems did not sound that way to me.
