Drawn to Etudes #2, #3, and #6 in Philip Glass: Etudes for Piano, Vol I, Nos. 1-10. Started off with my exploded tip Prang washable brush pens, then worked over that with white Gelly Roll 08. Initially, a nice fluid feel to the lines, which got more restless and frenetic, especially after I started using the gel pens. But I like drawing to Glass’s work — the music just flows into my hands and fingers… Drawing like this changes my experience of the music on my iPod. I hear and feel things while drawing that I didn’t hear before, or was not aware of. Every drawing to music (or even just sound) is kind of a revelation.
