In some ways, white gel pen on black is my media of choice if I’m sitting in a darkened theater, because I can see the white on black better. This was drawn while watching a performance, “A History of the Body,” by Aimee Suzara. My arm/hands (lines) moved to the movements and sounds of the actors (who also danced), the inflections of their voices, and also to the ambient soundtrack.
