Okir: Analog 4/20/2013

Drawn to birdsong and other sounds (goats, chickens, crickets, dogs) coming from the field in front of my house at around twilight. I used my lovely “exploded tip” Prang brush pen again, which was making some interesting little double line marks. I like the way the lines form a kind of “landscape” across the page. The cluster of dark marks in the upper right-hand side of the paper is a response to a riot of Pugs yapping their heads off (my neighbor down in the glen has 6 Pugs). Once again, doing haptics, I notice bird songs I never heard. It’s as if I never really listened before…
