Haptic painted to Vangelis’ “Good to See You” on The City album. Mostly Pentel Watercolor on used, heavy portfolio paper, 10 3/4 x 8 inches. The long spikey shape in the middle is comprised of glue and paper left when an older drawing I wasn’t happy with was torn off the portfolio page. The track begins with city sounds, people walking on the streets, trains, etc. followed by a lovely trumpet (or clarinet?) solo, and percussion that seems timed to walking, or to heartbeats. Also contains spoken word: a woman talking on the phone. Beautiful.
