Okir: Analog 4-12-2014

Okir_Analog_4-12-2014
Painted at Hidden Peak Teahouse in Santa Cruz, while listening to various Asian recordings on vinyl. Not exactly a haptic, but it was definitely analog. Hidden Peak does not allow digital electronics of any kind in the teahouse. Ink (Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bombay Black, Higgins white), and Wuyi Amber oolong tea, Buddhist Island green tea, on Khadi handmade paper, 8.5 x 8.5 inches. First time using tea in a painting; I like the subtle effect.
